I am ready to head back to Sertoma Arts Center to teach outside. They have new outdoor bathrooms now too. Woohoo! We will dance in the lovely Pecan Grove or the basketball courts depending upon the mush factor of the field. What a way to start the new year!

Speaking of new, if you have never taken Nia, come on out and enjoy a class for free.

It is a 7 class session that starts on January 9 Saturdays 11 a.m.—12 p.m.. No worries if you miss any of the classes, you can always make them up in the next session. If we need to cancel due to weather you will be called an hour before class and the session will be prorated. Sign up through reclink with barcode 265463 or before class at the Center-they open at 10. If you decide to sign up on-site you will need to get your temperature taken, answer questions, sign a form and get a bracelet so give yourself plenty of time. If you sign up online come find me out in the grove or on the courts.

By summer (or possibly sooner) the Center will be able to have drop-ins and class cards. So happy to have more options soon!

Wear shoes that are comfortable to dance in, bring a mat, and wear lots of layers (maybe even some gloves :).

We all have different levels of what makes us feel safe. Since we will be dancing at least six feet apart masks are optional. Mine we be very handy so that I can speak to y’all with ease before class. Will probably wear my new buff that also doubles as a scarf. Feel free to bring scarves or other rope like material if you would like to create a personal dance space around you.
